The Hotel Doria equipped each room with the Alexa Smart Properties system, which allows guests to conveniently manage their room and obtain hotel information using voice commands. Alexa also offers personalised entertainment and the ability to connect one’s smartphone to listen to music.

The Alexa Smart Properties system was created with an emphasis on privacy. Alexa is only activated by the word ‘Alexa’ and does not store personal data of guests; only anonymous statistical information is collected to improve the service. In Echo Show devices, the camera is electronically deactivated to protect privacy. Hotel Doria thus offers an innovative and secure technological experience, guaranteeing the utmost respect for privacy.
